In the two years before switching to the smaller more regular Inner Sunset Sundays format, the organizing team followed the more conventional model of one large annual event. This event, known as the Inner Sunset Street Fair, had its second outing in 2011. The event showed a remarkable evolution since the first fair in 2010.

Some facts about the event:

Over 5,000 people attended

There was a lot for children – Box Mountain, a bouncy castle, a kids’ disco tent, storytime with Pia Esposito, and more

For music and dance-lovers there was jazz, surf music, rock, classical music, lindy hop, salsa, and more

There were over 40 booths from local vendors, including arts and crafts, clothing, and more

Many food vendors sold out – several times!

There were so many highlights – including Box Mountain, the Fair photo booth, kids’ rock bands, cute pets for adoption, surf bands, and the Choose Your Ceremony booth – let’s just let the photos say it all.
